Alumni Classes donated turkeys, hams, sides, vegetables, snacks, breakfast foods, paper good and even laundry supplies to provide 43 well-supplied Thanksgiving baskets to families in need! An Alumnus of Class of 1995 donated a refrigerator and deep freezer ahead of Thanksgiving to hold all those turkeys and hams that were donated. Raines Class of 1983 even provided $150 gift cards to five (5) families. Local churches, including Philippian Community Church, Household of Faith Church and Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Jacksonville also donated turkeys and Thanksgiving baskets to Raines. Families were thankful to receive the Thanksgiving baskets as this has been a challenging year for many Americans as a result of the pandemic and unemployment.
