PURPOSE
The William M. Raines National Alumni Association presents the 2024 Dr. Andrew A. Robinson, Jr. Scholarship Awards. The awards will be presented to outstanding senior students who have demonstrated outstanding academic, service, and leadership qualities while attending William M. Raines Senior High School. The scholarships will be awarded in varying amounts ranging from $250 to $5000. The criteria for each scholarship vary. Please refer to the list below for the requirements of each one. All scholarships require that the student be in good academic and behavioral standing at the school. Submission Deadline: Sunday, April 28th.
Some scholarships require nominations by letter of recommendation. Nominations can be solicited from Raines faculty, staff, and academic advisors. When required, letters of recommendation can be submitted with the scholarship application. Other scholarships may require a resume and/or essay submission. These can also be submitted with the application. Please read the requirements of each scholarship carefully. Best wishes to every applicant!
